The Texas Science Festival concludes with a dynamic three-day event brought to you by UT’s Texas Robotics and Machine Learning Lab, in collaboration with UT’s Amazon Science Hub. The symposium will bring together leading experts from academia, industry and beyond to explore the latest advancements in AI and robotics. 

Hear from keynote speakers like Rodney Brooks, a renowned pioneer in robotics whose work has profoundly influenced the field, who will address the gathering at 9:45 a.m. Brooks will be joined throughout the program by other distinguished experts, offering insights into the latest advancements in AI and robotics. Engage with cutting-edge research during interactive panels and poster sessions, attend various networking opportunities and look forward to making meaningful connections between sessions and over shared meals—something this event is known for.

Rodney Brooks, the Panasonic Professor Emeritus of Robotics at MIT, is a robotics entrepreneur and currently the CTO and co-founder of Robust AI. He is also a founder, former board member and former CTO of iRobot Corp.

Peter Stone

Peter Stone is a Distinguished Teaching Professor, Truchard Foundation Chair in Computer Science, Director of Texas Robotics and founding member of UT’s Good Systems executive team. He is also Chief Scientist at Sony AI.
